Stone Island
Stone Island is an Italian clothing brand founded in 1982 by Massimo Osti and since December 2020 owned by Moncler. The operational headquarters are located in the Ravarino plant, in the province of Modena. The badge in embroidered cloth characterizes the clothing Stone Island, transposes the Rose of the Winds in the manner of a military coat of arms. The wind rose for the brand represents, the continuous research and development of innovative materials and production techniques.
The badge is the hallmark of the brand and is inspired by the military ranks on the commanders' jackets.
It is applied to the garments through two buttons and above, there is an embroidered windrose.
