Sporting Club Quinto

Sporting Club Quinto is an Italian water polo club based in Genoa, playing in the Serie A1 championship under the name Iren Genova Quinto for reasons of sponsorship by the multiutility Iren. Founded in 1921, it is based in the Quinto al Mare neighborhood. Its corporate colors are white and red.

It currently plays its domestic competitions in the Albaro swimming pool, specifically in the pool named after Marco Paganuzzi, an unforgettable athlete, coach and manager of Quinto itself. The naming ceremony of the pool, in the presence of Genoa Mayor Marco Bucci and Settebello coach Sandro Campagna, took place in conjunction with the holding, there, of the Final Eight of the 2021/2022 Italian Water Polo Cup.

In the 2021/2022 season, the first team finished seventh in Serie A1, the best finish in its history.

Quinto's youth teams are present in all categories: Aquagol, Under 14, Under 16, Under 18 and Under 20. During the last season, the Under 14 was regional champion, the Under 16 finished second in Italy, the Under 18 fifth and the Under 20 third.
