Charity Dinner Veronesi Foundation

The Gala Dinner of the Turin Delegation of the Umberto Veronesi Foundation represents the most important moment of meeting with companies and supporters of the territory who have chosen to believe in the values that inspire the Foundation.

The funds raised on the occasion of this evening will be donated to scientific research on pediatric tumors and, in particular, will contribute to the financing of a treatment protocol for lymphoblastic lymphomas.

Every year in the world, approximately 250 thousand children fall ill with cancer. In Italy, there are more than 1,400 new cancer diagnoses in children up to 14 years of age and 800 in adolescents between 15 and 19 years of age. Over the last forty years, research has allowed a significant increase in recoveries, reaching up to 90% for some forms of leukemia. Much has been done, but not enough. For this reason, the Veronesi Foundation is committed to supporting scientific research and the best treatments for children and young people with cancer, to improve the life expectancy and quality of life of these young patients.
