The Aster coffee table, designed by Vincent Van Duysen, is the ultimate expression of compositional rationality and artisanal skill. A unique object crafted entirely by hand, a contemporary work of art that combines aesthetics and functionality.

Each table has a slightly different feel, testifying to its artisanal nature. Aster's base is characterized by a cast brass made using an earthenware mold, giving it a sophisticated hammered effect. The ring is assembled to the legs by welding.

The vibratory finishing technique completes its aesthetic. Using stones, the structure is gently smoothed, creating a wavy effect. The top is made of annealed glass, distinguished, on the underside, by a subtle ripple that adds personality. Here too, the production technique is meticulous: the sheet is placed in a mold with a textured base and fused at a temperature of 180 degrees, giving the glass its distinctive finish. The Aster coffee table is a forged piece with a sculptural appeal, suitable for use across collections and spaces.
