The restaurant was founded in the 1920s, but by 1960 it had become a gastronomic hotspot for Parma residents fleeing the city. Heirs to a centuries-old tradition and several family-run businesses, Giancarlo Tavani, Giampietro Stancari, and Mattia Serventi have continued the trattoria's legacy since 2005. Their particular attention to preserving the location and traditional techniques, the food, and the atmosphere has earned them national and international recognition.
Pasta prepared fresh, cured meats from small artisan producers, authentic preparation of raw ingredients, gelato made with an authentic 1964 "Carpigiani," local and international wines, from the most renowned and renowned to small producers. The menus focus on local recipes, following seasonal trends, with fresh and stuffed pastas, poultry and game dishes, and new creations using more innovative techniques.
