Description

Benetton Ford b192/193 F1 model.

Riccardo Patrese has signed the model on the protective glass.

The model is made in 1:43 scale.

Riccardo Patrese is one of the most representative Italian drivers in Formula 1, with a long and solid career that saw him compete at the highest level from the late 1970s to the early 1990s. In 1993, he contested his final season in the World Championship with the Benetton team, putting his great experience at the service of the squad.

That year, Patrese drove the Benetton B192/B193, single-seaters designed by Rory Byrne and powered by Ford V8 engines. The B193 in particular was a highly advanced car, featuring innovative solutions such as active suspension, which allowed Benetton to be competitive at the front of the field. Although he did not achieve any victories, Patrese played an important role in the car’s development and in the growth of the team, which would soon go on to win the world championship with Michael Schumacher.
