Laetitia Ky is an Ivorian artist and activist born in Abidjan in 1996, known for her original work that combines art, fashion, and social commitment. After abandoning her business studies, she decided to devote herself fully to creativity, finding a strong source of inspiration in African culture and traditional hairstyles.

Through her famous sculptures made from her own braided hair, Laetitia Ky transforms the body into a medium of expression, addressing issues such as identity, self-esteem, gender equality, and women's rights. Her work, widely shared on social media, combines aesthetics and political messages, making her one of the most influential voices of her generation.

In addition to her artistic practice, she is also active in film and writing, pursuing multidisciplinary research that reinforces her commitment to female empowerment and the valorization of Black beauty.

LIS10 Gallery is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2019 by collector Alberto Chiavacci and gallerist Nicola Furini. It is distinguished by an international program focused on research and dialogue between different cultures, generations, and artistic languages.

With locations in Arezzo, Paris, and Hong Kong, the gallery promotes emerging and established artists, with a particular focus on African and diaspora artists, within a global context. Through exhibitions, fairs, and institutional collaborations, LIS10 fosters intercultural exchange and supports the international dissemination of contemporary artistic practices.

This initiative is organized by the Arezzo Delegation of the Umberto Veronesi Foundation, led by Laura Carlini, and founded in 2014 with the aim of advancing the Veronesi Foundation's mission in its local area: carrying out fundraising initiatives to support scientific research and dissemination and awareness projects aimed at students and the public.

Specifically, the auction aims to raise funds to support a local researcher working to find new treatments for cancer.
