The triumph marked an extraordinary achievement for Ferrari and AF Corse, securing the Maranello-based manufacturer's third consecutive victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, following the successes of the Ferrari 499P number 51 in 2023 and number 50 in 2024.
The victory of the number 83 was particularly significant, as it marked the first overall victory by a privateer team at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 20 years, finishing ahead of the factory Ferrari entries.
