Razzia is one of the greatest artists in the world of posters and advertising illustration of the second half of the twentieth century. His style almost always evokes the spirit of Art Deco, the golden age of European and American posters. The original subjects of Razzia's posters are hand-made in oil or acrylic, with a pictorial technique, without the use of computer graphics, completed and enriched in the silkscreen transposition by the text, always carefully studied and appropriately placed. The resulting result is at the same time retro and modern, persuasive and incisive, sensual and strong-willed, effectively communicative.
The work is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
The lot was donated by L'Estampe di Emanuele Cardellino.
